Executive Board
Your Executive Board works tirelessly to provide you with great experiences! If you have questions or suggestions for any of us, feel free to reach out by visiting our office hours, talking to us at programs, or sending an email addressed to the specific board member you would like to talk to at rha@unm.edu. The Executive Board is elected yearly (usually in mid-April) and their duties depend on the position. You can find detailed descriptions of each position below. Members of the Executive Board all have office hours where we will be in our office on the second floor of LaPosada Dining Hall. To request a meeting with an Executive Board member in person or virtually during their office hours, you can email rha@unm.edu. Please address the email subject with the name of the member you want to meet with and include which office hours you'd like to meet for.

About Me: Hello! My name is Charles Aguirre, and I am from Gallup, New Mexico. I am pursuing a psychology and HMHV degree and love eating, sleeping, and going outside. You may see it at various clubs or any free food event. My biggest goal for RHA is to improve campus life for our residents and get their voices heard! I am excited about how RHA will grow and humbled to serve everyone.
Positional Duties: I oversee the RHA's operations, including managing the executive board, planning events, and allocating budgets. I also act as a bridge between residents and university administration, addressing student concerns and working to improve campus life. Lastly, I coordinate with other student groups, promote community engagement, and develop leadership skills among RHA members. The Executive Director also serves as one of UNM's official representatives in regional and national spaces.

About Me: Hello! Roman Ubias, A proud RHA executive board member and aspiring JAG attorney. I'm originally from Denver, Colorado, but I moved to UNM to gain new experiences and pursue academic success. I am majoring in Political Science and History with a minor in Military Studies and German, so I immerse myself in various activities. These include the university’s Swing Dance Club, planning and deliberating events at RHA, and my local SRC community association. However, all of these are plain compared to the people I get to meet along the way!
Positional Duties:
The Director of Communications heads up correspondence and organization for RHA. They create the graphics for our programs, send out emails to our members, and maintain this website. The DoC serves a vital role in keeping RHA organized and productive.

About Me: Hey, y'all, I'm Ava! I'm from Denver, and I'm studying pre-pharmacy here at UNM. You can find me snowboarding in Colorado or exploring the world when I'm not at school. I love to travel, and I was a foreign exchange student in high school in Indonesia! I am currently living in the SRC apartments on campus (say hi!), and this is my first year with UNM housing. If you see me around, let's get to know each other!

The National Communications Coordinator is the face of RHA beyond the UNM level. They are the team lead for regional and national conferences, chats, and discussions in which RHA is involved. The NCC serves as one of the official representatives of UNM in these spaces.

About Me: Hello everyone! I am Nicole. I am a political science and interpersonal communications major. Academics are my passion, and I love to be busy! When I am not helping out with RHA, I am hanging out with friends, reading, or finding new ways to get involved in the community. I am excited to be the Director of Advocacy and hope to use my role to uplift student voices and communities on campus.
Positional Duties:
The Director of Advocacy oversees the success of the Diversity and Social Justice (DSJ) and Eco Committees. These committees plan one program per month, incorporating their respective lenses into an engaging experience for on-campus residents. The DoA also plans one advocacy or environmentally-centered initiative per semester to foster awareness at UNM.
