Community Association

Every Tuesday

Your residence hall hosts its community association meeting. These meetings include the local campus happenings, residence hall happenings, and much more. The focus of these meetings is to build the community and create a fun environment for all residents. Meetings can range from talking about what is going on that week, to programs put on by residents or RA's. The community association is a great way to become familiar with the community you live in as well as giving you a chance to become involved as a CA executive members like the president, vice present, or even RHA representative.

RHA Representatives!
Being an RHA Representative is a great way to get involved in your on-campus community! Each hall has three RHA reps that report between the Community Association meetings and RHA meetings. Elections for RHA Rep happen at the beginning of the fall semester during the Community Association meetings. All hall meetings start around 8:30 every Tuesday night but if you have questions, talk to your RA when you move in, or email rha@unm.edu to find out where your hall meeting takes place or to get clarification on how to get involved!

RHA Executives!
If you're interested in being on the RHA Executive Board, the first step is talking to the current executive board! You can reach them at rha@unm.edu or you can visit them during their office hours, which are listed under the "Meet Your Executive Board" portion of this website. Another great step towards joining the executive board is reading over the duties of an executive member listed in our constitution. Elections for the executive board happen late in the spring semester, or when there is interest for current vacancies, so stay tuned for info sessions and election information!
