How to Request Funding

As members of RHA you can request funding to sponsor programs for the campus community. If you are interested in requesting funds from RHA please follow the steps below. You may also use the following steps to request supplies or volunteers. RHA is now open for requests. Please let us know if you have any questions by sending an email to It is not necessary to create an account with OrgSync to request money from RHA; however, if you would like to make an account therer are instructions at the bottom of this page.

Step 1

Come up with a program or equipment need to request money for! Coming up with the need is easy, but being organized about it can sometimes be difficult. Make sure that you've thought your idea through and have a clear, organized plan. You will need a flyer for your event with our logo on it that you can find under Governing Documents with some easy rules.

Step 1.5

If your request is over $200, you will need to meet with a RHA Executive before you submit your form. We ask that you meet with us before you submit larger requests so that we can help you anticipate questions that will be asked by the general board during your presentation. You can set up a meeting time by emailing us at or coming to our office hours.

Step 2

Fill out the funding request form on OrgSync! The same form can be used for requesting supplies and/or volunteers. The funding request form can be found here.

Step 3

Present your funding request at our meeting! Our meetings happen on Monday night at 7pm in the LaPosada lair and you cannot get funding from RHA if you do not present at a meeting. The general board will vote on your request and you will be informed immediately after the vote if you received the funding. If you did not receive the funding, we encourage you to speak with us as to why and to come back and try again! Note: Our Logo must be on your flyer for funding requests! You can find high quality versions of the logo in the resources tab on the website.
